Carley Eichhorn

Carley Eichhorn (she/her) is currently a Hall Director at the University of Michigan. In 2021, she graduated from Central Michigan University with undergraduate experience as an RA and a tour guide. In 2022, she graduated with her master’s degree from Oklahoma State University, where she served in the Residential Life department as an Assistant Residential Community Educator and a Social Media and Communications Intern. With two degrees in Communications, Carley loves to write and chit-chat, but also has a passion for reading, hiking, playing water polo, and taking naps with her cat, Obi. 

Hannah Elliott

Hannah Elliott (she/hers) is an Assistant Director of Residential Engagement and Staff Training at California State University, Long Beach. She has a B.A. in Communications with a Minor in American Studies from CSU Fullerton as well as a M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University. Her passions within the field include helping students make meaning of their experiences and guiding student learning in informal and formal education spaces. Hannah is a yapper who loves to read, write, crochet, and cuddle up with her two orange cats while watching TV.

Younna Gooden (she/her/hers) has worked in higher education, specifically Housing and Residence Life for for ten years and currently serves as the Senior Associate Director in the department of Housing and Residence Life at The University of Memphis. Younna completed her undergraduate studies at The University Mississippi, better known as Ole Miss, and her M.S.Ed. at California State University, Fullerton. She has a commitment to leadership, keen sense of duty, adept gift of kind-yet-effective communication, and unwavering ability to push on even when times are tough. Younna enjoys watching anime, building Legos, gaming, and at times reading a good book with some tea.

Jesse Heath

Jesse Heath (he/him) has worked as a housing professional for almost five years and currently serves as the Employee Relations Coordinator at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA. Jesse’s professional interests focus on talent development, performance development, and employee relations within higher education. Outside of work, Jesse loves spending time with family and playing board games over a good cup of coffee.

John Kendall

John Kendall (he/him/his) is a residence life professional in Southern Indiana. He received his Interpersonal Communication Studies degree from Ball State University with a double minor in Leadership Studies and Sociology. John loves giraffes, reading, writing, board games, and working with students. 

Austin Korynta

Austin Korynta (he/him) is a higher education professional based out of Minnesota. Austin started down the path of working in higher education at his freshman orientation when he boldly told his academic advisor he wanted to drop his intended major and “do what you do.” Since then, Austin has been all-in on housing and residence life experiences across institutions in Iowa, North Carolina, and Illinois prior to settling down in Minnesota. Outside of work, Austin enjoys playing the bass guitar, cooking new recipes, and setting expectations too high for his favorite sports teams.

Cynthia Moberly

Cynthia Moberly (she/they) serves as the Assistant Director of Housing Operations at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She is a reviewer for the ACUHO-I Journal of College and University Student Housing and serves on the editorial board for The SEAHO Report. Cynthia’s passion in their everyday work lies in improving communication and processes for students to enhance the college experience. Their research interests include staff recruitment and retention, effective supervision, and gender minority issues.

Dj Moore

D.J. Moore has worked in the field of Residence Life since his undergraduate career in 2015 as a Resident Assistant. Today, D.J. serves as the Assistant Director for Academic Initiatives and Experiential Learning at UNC-Greensboro. D.J. holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Lander University, a Master’s degree in Higher Education from UNC-Wilmington, and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Clemson University. Outside of work, D.J. enjoys traveling, going on walks with his fur baby Lilo, trying new brunch spots, playing Fortnite and Kingdom Hearts, and most recently, supervising home improvement projects his partner Philip is completing on their new home.

Zachary Wiberg

Zachary Wiberg (he/him/his) has been working in the field of higher education ever since he started out as an RA his sophomore year. He received his MS in Strategic Communication from Radford University and currently works as a Housefellow at Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys exploring Pittsburgh, making movie references that no one else seems to get, and doing pretty much anything else with his wife and various pets.
